Panino’s Restaurant – Restaurant Review
I met some friends for lunch at Panino’s in downtown Colorado Springs. The experience can be summed up in one word: slow. Slow to take the order. Slow to serve the food. Slow to bring the check. If your in a hurry, this is not the place to go.
I ordered what I called a “pig calzone”. Basically, it was the build your own calzone, with all of the pig products on the menu (sausage, bacon, ham). It is served with a small bowl of marinara sauce for dipping/pouring. I was happy with the quality of the food, but it didn’t knock my socks off or anything.
I forgot my digital camera, so I had to beg one of my friends to take some pictures on his camera phone – I’ll get em posted as soon as I can! (UPDATE: Posted!)
There’s really not much else to say, so I guess I’ll cut this one short.
